Job Description:
- Provide prompt and courteous room service to guests, taking orders and delivering food and beverages to their rooms
- Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered in a timely manner, following company standards and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, including the pantry and storage areas
- Stock and replenish items in the room service menu, ensuring availability of all items at all times
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating to management when necessary
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu items are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with in-room dining events and special requests
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or cruise ship setting
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, positive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
- Must be able to obtain a valid passport and travel internationally
