Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain and troubleshoot all onboard broadcast equipment, including audio and video systems, satellite and cable systems, and internet and network systems

- Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs to ensure all equipment is functioning properly

- Set up and operate equipment for live events and broadcasts, including concerts, shows, and onboard activities

- Monitor and adjust broadcast signals to ensure high-quality transmission

- Work closely with other crew members to coordinate and execute onboard entertainment and communication events

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment

- Stay up-to-date with advancements in broadcast technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements to equipment and systems

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment and systems

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Broadcast Technician or in a similar role

- Technical knowledge and experience with audio and video systems, satellite and cable systems, and internet and network systems

- Familiarity with live event production and broadcast operations

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Ability to work and live onboard a cruise ship for extended periods of time
