Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests to the restaurant in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist in setting up and maintaining the dining area, including tables, chairs, linens, and tableware
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure all guests' needs are met and any special requests are accommodated
- Answer any questions about menu items and make recommendations when necessary
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic dining experience for guests
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage service
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Attend all required training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager or other supervisors
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math and computer skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
