Job Description:

Cruise Ships Chef de Partie - Cruise Ships

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook dishes according to menu specifications and recipes

Supervise and train junior chefs and kitchen staff

Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation

Monitor and control food costs and wastage

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Stay updated on industry trends and new cooking techniques

Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to develop new menu items

Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef De Partie in a high-volume kitchen

Culinary degree or equivalent experience

Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes

Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed

Valid food handler's certificate
