Job Description:

Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew members in accordance with company protocols and medical guidelines

- Maintain and manage the onboard medical clinic, including inventory and restocking of medical supplies

- Conduct regular safety drills and trainings for crew members on emergency medical procedures

- Collaborate with the ship's captain and other crew members to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers

- Monitor and track any medical incidents and report them to the appropriate authorities

- Communicate with onshore medical facilities for any necessary consultations or evacuations

- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated onboard

- Assist with any other duties as assigned by the ship's captain or medical director

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine

- Experience in remote or wilderness medicine preferred

- Previous experience working on a cruise ship or in a similar expedition setting is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Willingness to work long hours and be on call as needed
