Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a positive first impression onboard the cruise ship
- Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously, providing information and assistance as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and equipment is functioning properly
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies
- Maintain knowledge of ship activities, services, and amenities to assist guests with their needs
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of guests and crew members
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
