Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Front Desk Manager in managing the front desk operations, including scheduling, training, and supervising front desk staff onboard the cruise ship
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Manage and monitor the booking system to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and maintain daily reports and records
- Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Stay updated on company policies, procedures, and services to provide accurate information to clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or hospitality management courses preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or front desk role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and booking systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
