As an Executive Housekeeper on our luxury cruise ships, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the utmost comfort and satisfaction of our esteemed guests. Responsibilities:
- Housekeeping Operations: Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring the timely and efficient cleaning and maintenance of guest cabins and public areas. Coordinate daily cleaning tasks, inspections, and quality assurance measures to exceed guest expectations.
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead, train, and motivate a team of housekeeping staff to achieve excellence in their roles. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and a strong sense of camaraderie among the team.
- Guest Experience: Strive to create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests, anticipating their needs, and promptly addressing any concerns to ensure their utmost comfort throughout their voyage.
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal levels of housekeeping supplies and equipment, conducting regular inventory checks, and liaising with procurement to ensure a seamless supply chain.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety, security, and environmental regulations in accordance with maritime standards and company policies. Safeguard the wellbeing of guests and crew by proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including front desk, maintenance, and dining services, to ensure seamless operations and a unified guest experience.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record as an Executive Housekeeper in a 4 to 5-star hotel or cruise ship, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
- Attention to Detail: Possess an acute eye for detail to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the ship.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with guests and crew members of diverse backgrounds.
- Management Skills: Strong leadership abilities to inspire and manage a team of housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and dedication.
