Job Description:

Position: Commis Pastry

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Pastry Chef in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries and desserts for our guests.

- Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in all products.

- Assist with inventory management and stock control to ensure adequate supplies are available at all times.

- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all food safety and hygiene regulations.

- Communicate effectively with the pastry team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the pastry department.

- Continuously strive to improve and develop your skills and knowledge in pastry making.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen or pastry shop.

- Knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

- Excellent time management skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Team player with excellent communication skills.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Food safety and hygiene certification is a plus.
