Job Description:
As a Demi Chef de Partie in our brasserie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. You will be responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie in preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes to the highest standards. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, follow food safety and hygiene standards, and work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and cooking of all dishes in the brasserie
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to the menu and company standards
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment
- Help with stock control and ordering to ensure ingredients are always available
- Assist in training and supervising junior members of the kitchen team
- Work closely with other departments, such as the restaurant team, to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the company and its values to guests and colleagues
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a similar setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent training and experience
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work long hours and shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
