Job Description:
Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the lounge.
- Provide information about the lounge menu, drink options, and any promotions or special events.
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
Menu Knowledge:
- Have a thorough understanding of the lounge's menu, including food and beverage options, to assist guests with their selections.
- Make recommendations based on guest preferences and menu offerings.
Order Processing:
- Input orders accurately into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Ensure that orders are delivered promptly and accurately to the guests.
Beverage Preparation:
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Follow established recipes and presentation standards.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the bar area, tables, and seating.
- Ensure that glasses, utensils, and other bar equipment are clean and properly sanitized.
Upselling and Promotion:
- Promote special offers, happy hour deals, and promotions to encourage additional sales.
- Upsell premium menu items or recommend pairings with food selections.
Cash Handling:
- Handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Provide change and receipts to guests, and process credit card transactions.
Customer Engagement:
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs, providing exceptional service throughout their visit.
Adherence to Policies:
- Follow the hotel's policies and procedures, including safety and hygiene standards.
- Adhere to any legal regulations related to the service of alcohol.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and other departments within the hotel.
Event Support:

- Collaborate with the events team for successful coordination.
