Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and maintain computer hardware, software and peripherals On Board Cruise Ship
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software and network systems
- Monitor and maintain the company's network and server infrastructure
- Perform regular backups and ensure data security and integrity
- Manage user accounts and access permissions
- Provide technical support to employees and assist with training on new systems and software
- Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to improve efficiency and productivity
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory
- Experience with network security and data backup solutions
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Previous experience in the maritime industry is a plus
