Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee and tea beverages according to company standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring their satisfaction with their beverage and overall experience onboard the cruise ship
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety guidelines
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, maintaining accurate records and following cash handling procedures
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies and ingredients as needed
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering any questions and addressing any concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the coffee bar and overall customer experience
- Continuously learn about new products and promotions, and share this knowledge with customers
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times, including dress code and attendance standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques and equipment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Certification in barista training is a plus
