Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for in-room dining orders, ensuring all food is presented in a timely and visually appealing manner
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in menu planning and development, taking into consideration guest preferences and dietary restrictions
- Work closely with the Room Service team to ensure all orders are delivered accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring all guest requests and inquiries are handled promptly and professionally
- Continuously strive to improve and enhance the in-room dining experience for our guests
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Commi IRD or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
