Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Patrol assigned areas of the ship to ensure the safety and security of guests and crew members

- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activity

- Respond to and investigate security incidents and emergencies

- Enforce ship rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas

- Conduct regular inspections of all safety equipment and report any issues to the appropriate personnel

- Assist with the embarkation and disembarkation process, ensuring all guests and crew members are properly screened

- Conduct luggage and baggage checks to prevent the introduction of prohibited items onboard

- Collaborate with other departments, such as Guest Services and Housekeeping, to ensure a seamless and secure guest experience

- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and submit detailed reports to the Security Supervisor

- Attend regular training sessions to stay updated on security procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security role, preferably in a maritime or hospitality setting

- Valid Security Guard license or certification

- Knowledge of security protocols and procedures

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations

- Physically fit and able to stand and walk for extended periods of time

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
