Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of all hotel equipment, fixtures, and amenities on board our ships
- Perform routine inspections to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner
- Respond to urgent repair requests and troubleshoot any problems that may arise
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
- Assist in training new team members as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge of basic repair techniques and tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects
