Job Description:
To deliver all Guest and Business mail, preliminary and final statements, gratuity cards, newspapers, faxes, and newsletters to Guest suites and respective Offices in an efficient and timely manner.
To assist Guests during suite changes and to carry their luggage.
To deliver late and misplaced luggage to the suites.
To deliver luggage for embarking Guests and guide them to their suites in way ports.
To provide packing services for Guests.
To assist disabled Guests to their onboard destinations during the cruise (mostly wheelchair Guests).
To place signs around the ship when we have tender service.
To set up and prepare tables onboard for banks, post offices and tourist bureaus, and Customs and Immigration inspections when applicable.
To prepare and fill all travel document folders with color coded luggage tags and to deliver it to Guest suites.
To prepare elevators for luggage handling.
To assist with luggage collection on the last evening of the cruise.
To submit work orders when deficiencies are noted or when maintenance is required and to follow up on the work orders in a timely manner.
Maintains, at all times, a friendly and approachable demeanor, even under pressure, by applying the principles of Crystal Basics.
Always conducts oneself in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with guests, and fellow team members alike.
Performs any other operational duties as required.
