Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the dining room, including managing the waitstaff, assigning tables, and ensuring smooth service throughout meal times

- Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the waitstaff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism

- Monitor and maintain the inventory of dining room supplies, including china, glassware, and silverware

- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders

- Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience and handle any guest concerns or complaints in a professional and efficient manner

- Collaborate with other departments, such as the bar and entertainment teams, to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Assist in creating and implementing menus and special dining events to enhance the guest experience

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe dining environment

- Oversee the billing process and ensure accurate and timely delivery of guest checks

- Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and budget management, to ensure efficient operations of the dining room

Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maitre'd in a high-volume restaurant or cruise ship setting

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must pass a pre-employment medical examination and background check
