Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner, escort them to their tables and present menus
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure tables are set up properly and maintained throughout service
- Assist with the preparation of tables for special occasions and events
- Anticipate guests' needs and provide exceptional service at all times
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality and presentation meet company standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic dining environment
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Head Waiter or Restaurant Manager
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working at sea
