Job Description:

  • Prepare and cut meat according to specified requirements and standards.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of meat products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the butchery area.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock control of meat supplies.
  • Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols, including HACCP guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Butcher, preferably in a maritime or hospitality setting.
  • Valid STCW certification and all necessary documents for ship readiness.
  • Strong knowledge of meat cuts, handling, and preservation techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
