Position: Waiter

Location: International placement onboard a cruise ship

About the Opportunity:
Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting Waiters on behalf of a leading cruise line partner. This role is essential to providing guests with an exceptional dining experience onboard. The Waiter is responsible for greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest enjoys professional and attentive service in a world-class hospitality environment.

All placements are made directly with the cruise line Crew Life At Sea does not charge any recruitment or placement fees.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests as they enter the dining room and escort them to their table

  • Present menus and make recommendations based on guest preferences

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the system

  • Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner

  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all orders before service

  • Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve concerns promptly

  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables

  • Assist with preparing and clearing tables when needed

  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean, safe environment for guests and crew

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience

  • Attend training sessions and meetings as required by the company

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager or supervisors

Who Were Looking For:

  • Previous fine dining experience as a waiter/waitress in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or resort preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Physically fit to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
