Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage the daily operations of all bars, lounges, and other beverage outlets onboard the cruise ship

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Train and develop beverage staff to ensure exceptional service standards are met

- Create and implement beverage menus and promotions

- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of all beverage equipment and facilities

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

- Handle any guest complaints or issues related to beverage service

- Collaborate with other departments, such as the kitchen and housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction

- Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to management

- Monitor and control beverage costs to meet budget targets

- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new beverage staff

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or luxury hotel setting

- Strong knowledge of beverage operations, including wines, spirits, and cocktails

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is an asset
