Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise a team of repair technicians to ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard

- Develop and implement repair and maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment and systems are properly maintained and in good working condition

- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and address them promptly

- Coordinate with other departments to schedule repairs and minimize disruptions to operations

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of spare parts and equipment

- Ensure all repair and maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations

- Train and mentor new repair technicians on proper procedures and techniques

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities

- Communicate with management to provide updates on repairs, maintenance, and any potential issues

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry

- Strong knowledge of repair and maintenance techniques for various systems and equipment

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends when necessary

- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects

- Valid passport
