Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine dental exams and cleanings for clients on board various vessels
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
- Administer anesthetics and perform extractions and other surgical procedures as needed
- Educate clients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all dental treatments and procedures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on board to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree
- Valid state dental license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice
- Experience with surgical procedures and emergency dental care preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different environments and work well in a team
- Willingness to travel and work on board various vessels for extended periods of time
