Job Description:

- Conduct field research and collect data on marine species, habitats, and ecosystems

- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns

- Prepare reports and present findings to clients and stakeholders

- Collaborate with team members to design and implement research projects

- Maintain and calibrate research equipment

- Participate in field expeditions and data collection trips

- Stay up-to-date on current research and industry developments

- Assist with grant writing and funding proposals

- Contribute to the development of new research methodologies and techniques

Qualifications:

- Master's or PhD in Marine Biology, Oceanography, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine research and data collection

- Strong knowledge of marine ecosystems and species identification

- Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Experience with grant writing and funding proposals is a plus

- Willingness to travel and work in remote field locations

- SCUBA diving certification is preferred
