Position: Storekeeper Deck & Furniture
Location: International placement onboard a cruise line
About the Opportunity:
Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting Storekeepers Deck & Furniture on behalf of one of our cruise line partners. This operational role is vital for the organized inventory, storage, and distribution of tools, equipment, and furniture-related materials for the Deck and Hotel departments. From managing spare parts to overseeing furniture logistics, the Storekeeper ensures all maintenance teams are well-supplied and fully supported.
All candidates placed through Crew Life At Sea are hired directly by the cruise line and are never charged recruitment or placement fees.
Role Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate inventory of deck, hotel furniture, and interior maintenance supplies

Issue tools, materials, and spare parts to the Deck and Hotel maintenance teams upon request

Ensure safe and secure storage of items in accordance with onboard policies

Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies or low stock levels to supervisors

Assist with receiving, inspecting, and organizing deliveries related to deck and hotel supplies

Coordinate with onboard departments to forecast material needs and ensure timely replenishment

Update inventory management systems and maintain documentation for audits and safety compliance

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all storage areas under your responsibility

Support the Deck Team during emergencies when required

Adhere strictly to onboard safety, health, and environmental policies (HESS protocols)

Who Were Looking For:

Experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics rolespreferably in a maritime or hospitality setting

Familiarity with stock management systems and handling tools, furniture parts, and technical supplies

Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
-
Comfortable working in storerooms and lifting moderate loads
-
English language proficiency at A2 level or higher (CEFR scale)
-
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet supply deadlines

Responsible, safety-aware, and proactive in managing inventory
