Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in the dining area, taking into account any special requests or dietary restrictions
- Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the system accurately
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and clearing tables
- Assist with any guest inquiries or requests, providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic dining experience for guests
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German (both written and spoken)
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on a cruise ship
