Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain inventory levels of technical stores on board vessels

Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of supplies

Inspect incoming shipments to ensure quality and accuracy of products

Track and record all inventory transactions

Maintain a clean and organized technical store area

Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels and supply usage

Work closely with other departments to ensure timely and efficient supply delivery

Monitor and control costs related to technical stores

Train and supervise junior storekeepers, if necessary

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software

Knowledge of technical supplies and equipment used on board vessels

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
