Job Description:

- Supervise and train a team of stewards to ensure they are providing the highest level of service and maintaining cleanliness standards

- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas of the ship are clean and well-maintained

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies and equipment

- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas of the ship are cleaned regularly and thoroughly

- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to cleanliness

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to stewards

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards

- Assist in budget planning and cost control measures for the stewarding department

- Train new hires and provide ongoing training and development for current stewards

- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Stewarding Manager.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality or cruise industry setting

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed

- Fluent in English, both written and verbal

- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications.
