Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, including room attendants, laundry attendants, and public area cleaners
-Train and mentor new team members to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
-Conduct regular inspections to ensure they meet high standards of cleanliness and presentation
-Monitor and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
-Collaborate with other departments, such as guest services and maintenance, to address any guest concerns or maintenance issues
-Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
-Assist with scheduling and assigning duties to housekeeping team members, taking into account guest occupancy levels and special requests
-Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to promote a positive and productive work environment
-Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss housekeeping operations and make recommendations for improvements
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hospitality
-Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members
-Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
-Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, equipment, and cleaning products
-Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Fluent in English, additional languages a plus
