Job Description:
As an upholsterer onboard a cruise ship, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and occasionally creating upholstered furnishings and décor items throughout the vessel. Your expertise will contribute to the comfort, aesthetics, and functionality of our interior spaces, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Upholsterer in a marine or luxury setting
- Knowledge of different types of fabrics, foams, and other materials used in upholstery
- Ability to measure, cut, and install upholstery with precision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with delicate materials
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary
- Must be physically fit and able to perform tasks onboard a cruise ship, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
