Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and oversee the recruitment process for new crew members, including advertising, screening resumes, and conducting interviews

- Ensure all necessary documentation and certifications are obtained from crew members prior to deployment

- Handle all aspects of crew member onboarding, including contract preparation, orientation, and travel arrangements

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of crew members' personal and employment information

- Monitor crew members' contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

- Assist with crew scheduling and rotation, ensuring adequate coverage for all vessels

- Process and track crew members' payroll and benefits, including vacation and sick leave

- Act as a point of contact for crew members, addressing any questions or concerns they may have

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues related to crew members

- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to crew members' employment and ensure compliance

- Participate in company meetings and provide input on improving processes and procedures related to crew management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry

- Knowledge of crew management processes and regulations

- Strong organizational and time-management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed
