Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate all technical equipment in the lounges, including audio, lighting, and video systems
- Set up and test equipment before each performance or event
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during performances or events
- Work closely with the entertainment team to ensure all technical requirements are met for each performance
- Keep inventory of all equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and stored
- Collaborate with the onboard technical team to ensure all equipment is in good working condition and any necessary repairs or replacements are made in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a cruise ship or entertainment environment
- Strong knowledge of audio, lighting, and video systems
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and software
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
