Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Purser with daily administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing inventory onboard the cruise ship
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Manage onboard cash transactions, including currency exchange and cash advances
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operation of onboard services and activities
- Assist with embarkation and disembarkation procedures for guests, including luggage handling and check-in
- Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with company standards
- Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of onboard operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Must be willing to live and work onboard a cruise ship for extended periods of time
