Job Description:
Position: German International Host
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with any inquiries or requests they may have
- Provide information about ship activities, events, and ports of call
- Coordinate and lead group activities and events for German-speaking guests
- Ensure all guest needs are met and exceeded
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in public areas
- Act as a liaison between guests and other departments on the ship
- Handle and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the well-being of guests and crew
- Participate in safety drills and trainings as required
- Assist with embarkation and disembarkation procedures
- Uphold the company's standards and policies at all times
Qualifications:
- Fluent in German and English (additional languages are a plus)
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary travel documents
