Job Description:

Position: Assistant Manager Inventory

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing all aspects of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storage of supplies and equipment

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available at all times

- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies

- Work closely with the Inventory Manager to develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures

- Train and supervise inventory staff, ensuring they are following proper procedures and maintaining accurate records

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment

- Address any inventory-related issues or concerns in a timely and efficient manner

- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for inventory needs

- Prepare reports on inventory levels and usage for management review

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in inventory management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry

- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
