Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain all incinerator systems onboard the cruise ship, including monitoring and controlling the incineration process to ensure compliance with environmental regulations

- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on incinerator equipment to ensure proper functioning

- Troubleshoot and diagnose any issues with incinerator systems and make necessary repairs

- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on incinerator systems

- Communicate with the Chief Engineer and other crew members to coordinate maintenance and repair schedules

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on the incinerator systems

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to incinerator systems and make recommendations for improvements and upgrades as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with incinerator systems on board vessels

- Knowledge of environmental regulations and procedures related to incinerator operations

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Willingness to work on a rotating schedule and be on call for emergency repairs

- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally if needed
