Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Purser in managing the front desk and guest services operations onboard the ship
- Greet and assist guests with check-in, check-out, and any inquiries or requests they may have
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to the management team
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Train and supervise junior guest services staff
- Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures as required
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and inventory management
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Responsibilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a guest services role, preferably in the cruise industry
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working at sea
