Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of stewards, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure that all areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of guest requests and special orders
- Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
- Handle and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Train and mentor new stewards, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their role
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events and activities on board
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations in the hospitality industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
