Job Description:
Position: Chef De Partie Baker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts according to recipes and menu specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with ordering and inventory management of baking supplies
- Train and supervise junior bakers and kitchen staff
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new recipes and menu items
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
- Follow all company and ship safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, promoting a team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Baker or Chef De Partie in a high-volume kitchen
- Formal culinary training or degree preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
