Job Description:

Position: Hotel Assistant Restaurant

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the preparation and set-up of the restaurant for meal service

- Greet guests and assist with seating arrangements

- Take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff

- Serve food and drinks to guests

- Ensure that all guests are satisfied with their dining experience and address any concerns or issues promptly

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area

- Assist with restocking and inventory management

- Collaborate with the rest of the restaurant team to ensure efficient and timely service

- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy dining environment

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Team player with a positive attitude

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that requires working on board a luxury cruise ship. The working environment is fast-paced and may involve long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ship's itinerary may also require travel to various destinations. Accommodations and meals will be provided on board.
