Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all deck areas, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing decks
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of deck furniture and equipment
- Ensure all deck equipment is properly stored and secured
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working onboard the cruise the ship
- Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Deck Officer
- Assist with the operation of tenders and other small boats as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to any requests or inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in safety drills and training sessions as required
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of basic deck maintenance and cleaning techniques
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
