Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly introduction to the ship and its amenities
- Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have and providing prompt and efficient solutions onboard the cruise ship
- Offer personalized recommendations and assistance with booking reservations for dining, entertainment, and shore excursions
- Coordinate and facilitate special requests and arrangements for guests, such as celebrations or special occasions
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the ship's services, facilities, and activities to provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest areas, including the concierge desk and lounge
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to the appropriate departments if necessary
- Keep track of guest preferences and maintain guest profiles to ensure personalized service and anticipate their needs for future visits
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing guest requests and reservations, and maintaining inventory of concierge supplies
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a luxury or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cruise ship operations and destinations is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reservation systems
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
