Job Description:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and assist them in finding the perfect jewelry piece onboard the cruise ship
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers
  • Drive sales by promoting products and upselling to customers
  • Manage inventory and ensure the shop is well-stocked at all times
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain the appearance of the shop by ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Stay up-to-date on current jewelry trends and product knowledge
  • Collaborate with other departments to create special promotions and events to increase sales
  • Train and supervise junior staff members
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements;

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is a strong asset: German, French, Spanish, Italian
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
  • Knowledge of jewelry products and trends
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
