Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the perfect jewelry piece onboard the cruise ship
- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with customers
- Drive sales by promoting products and upselling to customers
- Manage inventory and ensure the shop is well-stocked at all times
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the appearance of the shop by ensuring it is clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Stay up-to-date on current jewelry trends and product knowledge
- Collaborate with other departments to create special promotions and events to increase sales
- Train and supervise junior staff members
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements;
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in one or more of the following languages is a strong asset: German, French, Spanish, Italian
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Knowledge of jewelry products and trends
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
