Job Description:

Position: Cruise Activities Staff

Role Responsibilities:

  • Host and participate in adult and family recreational programs and activities

  • Serve as master of ceremonies for events including game shows, theme nights, loyalty events, pool activities, and sailaway parties

  • Participate in Adventure Ocean and family programming such as talent shows, circus performances, face painting, balloon animals, and parades

  • Take part in skits, dance routines, and entertainment shows as part of the Cruise Directors Division

  • Assemble and disassemble activity props and equipment, returning items to storage after use

  • Maintain inventory of prize lockers, office supplies, and consumable items, coordinating with stores for requisitions

  • Greet and direct guests during embarkation, debarkation, and at ports of call

  • Socialize with guests in public areas to enhance guest satisfaction in line with service standards

  • Assist with cross-utilization duties such as spotlight operation, gangway duties, crowd control, and sports desk activities

Who Were Looking For:

  • Prior experience in entertainment, recreation, hospitality, or guest engagement roles
  • Strong public speaking, hosting, and performance skills, with confidence on a microphone
  • Outgoing, energetic personality with a passion for guest interaction and entertainment
  • Ability to take part in skits, basic dance routines, and family programs
  • Demonstrated talent in one or more performance areas, such as singing, dancing, acting, or other live entertainment skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage props, supplies, and activity logistics
  • Team player with flexibility to support cross-departmental duties as required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; additional languages are a plus
