MASSAGE THERAPIST
We are looking for a skilled and professional Massage Therapist to join a cruise ship spa team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage and wellness treatments while creating a relaxing, professional, and memorable experience for guests.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Perform a variety of professional massage treatments according to guest needs.
- Conduct consultations to understand guests' preferences and wellness goals.
- Recommend suitable treatments and products based on guest needs.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
- Provide professional and personalised guest service throughout each treatment.
- Maintain accurate treatment records and follow spa procedures.
- Promote spa treatments, packages, and products when appropriate.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming treatment area.
- Work closely with the spa team to ensure excellent guest experiences.
- Meet onboard service and sales targets where applicable.
- Follow all company, spa, health, and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- Recognised qualification in Massage Therapy or a related field.
- Previous professional massage therapy experience.
- Demonstrated cruise ship spa experience.
- Knowledge of various massage techniques and treatments.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, and well-groomed appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
