Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse to join our team at Crew Life at Sea. As a Nurse, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to crew members on board ships and vessels. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for career growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide medical care and treatment to crew members on board ships and vessels

- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and provide appropriate treatments

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients

- Educate crew members on health and safety practices and provide guidance on healthy living habits

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients

- Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid as needed

- Monitor and maintain medical supplies and equipment on board ships

- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on board ships

- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:

- Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

- Valid nursing license in the country of practice

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

- Experience in emergency care and/or critical care is an asset

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

- Willingness to travel and work on board ships for extended periods of time

- Knowledge of maritime regulations and protocols is an asset

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their needs
