Job Overview
The Service Assistant supports the Food & Beverage team in delivering excellent guest service by maintaining clean service areas, assisting with food and beverage operations, and ensuring guests enjoy a pleasant dining experience onboard.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist waiters and other service staff during meal services.
- Set up and clear tables, trays, and dining areas.
- Refill water, beverages, and other service items as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dining and service areas.
- Ensure cutlery, crockery, glassware, and service equipment are clean and properly arranged.
- Support the smooth running of restaurant and buffet operations.
- Respond to guest requests politely and professionally.
- Follow company health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or a similar role is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good personal hygiene and attention to detail.
- English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.
