We are seeking a skilled and guest-focused Nail Therapist to provide professional nail care and beauty services onboard an international cruise ship. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nail treatments while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, service, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicures and pedicures.
- Provide nail art and painted designs.
- Apply acrylic nails and nail extensions.
- Perform UV polish services.
- Apply nail stones and other decorative enhancements.
- Consult with guests regarding their nail care needs.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organised treatment area.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
- Provide professional and friendly guest service.
Requirements
- Basic training in beauty therapy OR several years of relevant professional experience with a nail art certificate.
- Experience with manicures and pedicures.
- Experience with acrylics, UV polish, nail art, extensions, and nail decorations.
- Podiatry training or qualifications would be advantageous.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- German language skills preferred.
Language Requirements
- Native German speaker or approximately Berlitz Level 4 German.
- Candidates with strong qualifications and fluent English may also be considered if willing to attend German lessons onboard.
