JOB SUMMARY
The Data Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting the Data Manager by leading the company's IT team in developing and maintaining internal IT systems. This position involves collaborating with third-party clients to integrate their systems into the company's reporting framework and developing new features to meet business needs and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Data Collection and Analysis: Implement strategies for effective data collection and analysis to support the audit team.
2. Report Production: Oversee the generation of reports on player activity and financial performance.
3. Insights and Recommendations: Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis findings.
4. Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend new data tools and technologies to enhance data processing and visualization.
5. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in data management processes and develop mitigation strategies.
6. Collaborative Analytics: Work with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and analytical frameworks for transparency and knowledge sharing.
8. Trend Analysis: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies in data analysis and reporting.
9. Reporting Automation: Develop automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
10. Data Protection Procedures: Ensure compliance with data protection procedures and regulations.
11. Data Sharing Agreements: Review Data Sharing Agreements with third parties to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
12. Additional Tasks: Perform other functions as assigned based on business needs.
Job Competencies/Specifications:
1. Strong experience in a quantitative discipline, such as Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
2. 8+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the gambling industry.
3. Advanced knowledge of SQL commands.
4. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely.
7. Experience with online gambling software platforms is highly desirable.
8. Knowledge of gambling regulations and best practices is highly desirable but not mandatory.
9. Preferably has experience with risk management frameworks.
